The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is expected to release the official notification for the Railway Group D vacancies for 2024 between October and December 2024. Educational Qualifications:

(1) Candidates must have passed the 10th standard/ Matriculation or obtained an ITI from institutions recognized by NCVT/SCVT, or hold an equivalent qualification like the National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT. Additionally, candidates with a 10th pass plus NAC from NCVT or 10th pass plus ITI from NCVT/SCVT recognized institutions are also eligible.

(2) Candidates awaiting the results of their final examination for the required educational/technical qualification should not apply.

RRB Group D Recruitment 2024 Physical Efficiency Test

Male Candidate	Female Candidate
Male candidates must possess the capability to transport a weight of 35 kg for a distance of 100 meters within 2 minutes, without setting the weight down. Additionally, they should be able to complete a 1000-meter run within 4 minutes and 15 seconds, all in a single attempt.	Female candidates must possess the ability to transport a weight of 20 kg for a distance of 100 meters within a time frame of 2 minutes, without setting the weight down. Additionally, they should be capable of running a distance of 1000 meters in a single attempt, completing it within 5 minutes and 40 seconds.

Railway Group D Salary 2024

The monthly salary for RRB Group D is determined by the Pay Scale, also known as PB 1 (Pay Band 15600-60600). The 7th Pay Commission has defined the basic pay as Rs. 18,000. Apart from the base income, candidates will receive additional benefits like HRA, DA, TA, and more.

• Candidates should apply for the Railway Group D Vacancy 2024 through online mode. They are required to fill out and submit the online application form through the official websites of the respective RRBs/RRCs on the specified open date.

• Verify your email ID and mobile number through OTP.

• It is advised that candidates keep their personal mobile number and valid email ID active throughout the recruitment process, as all communications from RRBs/RRCs will be sent only through SMS or email.

• When registering, select the specific Railway for which you intend to apply. The choice made during the online application process is final, and no requests for changes will be entertained.

• Enter registration details, including your name, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, Aadhaar number, SSLC/Matric registration number, year of passing, mobile number, and email ID. Submit the registration information. For candidates with ITI/NAC qualifications, enter the registration number/year of passing for ITI/NAC qualification instead of SSLC/Matric.
